Enrichment Technology is owned on a joint venture basis by Urenco and Areva. Although Enrichment Technology operates as a stand-alone business, we supply gas centrifuge technology to both our shareholders. The business relationship between Enrichment Technology and its customers is conducted on an arms-length basis.
Enrichment Technology’s business is split into three main processes:
- The manufacture of centrifuges and cascade pipework
- Enrichment plant design, and the management of plant construction projects
- Research and development of gas centrifuge technology
How the Enrichment Technology group is structured
Enrichment Technology is a UK registered company, which was formed in October 2003. Although registered in the United Kingdom, the company has its operational headquarters at Almelo in the Netherlands.
Enrichment Technology Company Limited (ETC) is the holding company for the Enrichment Technology Group. Currently Enrichment Technology operates five subsidiary companies, in five countries across Europe and the USA:
- In the Netherlands: Enrichment Technology Nederland B.V. (ET NL)
- In the United Kingdom: Enrichment Technology UK Limited (ET UK)
- In France: Enrichment Technology France SAS (ET F)
- In the USA: Enrichment Technology US Inc. (ET US)
- In Germany: Enrichment Technology Company Ltd, Zweigniederlassung Deutschland (ETC D)
